Regence Sponsors Run Course at Ford Ironman Coeur d’Alene

In 2007 Regence joined the NA Sports sponsor family as the Official Run Course sponsor at 2007 Ford Ironman Coeur d’Alene and the company will continue in that role for 2008 and 2009
International Women’s Field at 2008 Ford Ironman 70.3 Florida
May 9, 2008 Orlando, FL – The pro women’s field at the 2008 Ford Ironman 70.3 Florida, to be held on Sunday, May 20th, will be led by a group of international athletes. The 2007 defending Champion, Katja Schumacher will face fellow German Nina Kraft and Great Britain’s Leanda Cave at the fifth annual event held at Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Alexander to lead Men’s Field at Ford Ironman 70.3 Florida
May 7, 2008 Orlando, FL – The men’s pro field at the 2008 Ford Ironman 70.3 Florida will be led by a world champion at the distance, Australian Craig Alexander. He will be challenged by a talented field including Viktor Zyemtsev as well as Americans Chris Lieto and TJ Tollakson.

Attention Visiting and Practicing Athletes: The Ford Ironman USA triathlon course is available for training throughout the year. Please be aware that the bike and run course roadways contain pavement with cracks, grooves, potholes, frost heaves, and various imperfections. Be aware that you practice or train at your own risk on the course. Swimming in Mirror Lake is also undertaken at your own risk. Visiting and practicing athletes should also be aware of numerous road construction projects in the area. Cyclists and runners must obey all detour and road construction signage or instructions. When cycling, please remain single file. Avoid forming packs across the lane that impede vehicle traffic. Cyclists are reminded that they must obey all traffic regulations. The future of the race depends upon polite behavior. Thank you for your cooperation. |
